Most Popular Wedding Menu Items

One of the most important aspects (in our eyes THE most important) of any wedding celebration is the food. We have detailed our most popular wedding breakfast items below and have given you some ways we can incorporate these items into your special day!

The Classics - Canapés

Let's start with the canapés. When it comes to wedding canapés, there are some classics that never go out of style. Bruschetta is one canapé that is timeless and works with any season. The Italian appetiser consists of grilled bread with garlic and topped with tomato, basil and olive oil. We love using fresh locally sourced ingredients to help make the flavours pop, you can even work some cold Italian meats onto your Bruschetta for an extra twist.

Another canapé you can’t go wrong with is prawn cocktail. It's a simple but elegant dish, however with our spicy cocktail sauce it will leave your guests wanting more! An option that in increasing in popularity are our Ham Hock, Piccalilli & Mustard canapé. A unique option that can be served either hot or cold.

No matter what options you select for your event, we always reccomend a selection of both hot and cold canapés. If you wish for a more informal drinks reception we also offer an Afternoon Tea Option

The Main Event - Wedding Breakfast

When it comes to the wedding breakfast, we offer a few different serving options that can be tailored to all dietary requirements. However for this, we will talk about the most popular option for a Traditional Wedding Breakfast. The most popular meat by far is, chicken. Whether it's grilled, roasted or fried, chicken is always crowd-pleaser. It's versatile and can be paired with different sides to create a variety of dishes. The way we serve our chicken for our traditional wedding breakfast is - Ballottine of Chicken in Crispy Parma Ham, Seasonal Greens, Thyme, Gnocchi, Pomegranate, Toasted Pine Nuts & Garlic Butter. As we mentioned earlier, chicken is super versatile and can be served a number of different ways to satisfy your wedding theme.

Another popular option is Beef, a great alternative to chicken and just as versatile with a number of great menu pairings. Served from our Traditional Wedding Breakfast, your beef option is - Fillet of Beef, Dauphinois Potato, Wild Mushroom Fricassee, Courgette & Anise Poached Carrots

For those who prefer seafood, we offer some fantastic options within our Feasting Style menu

Grilled Sea Bream on a Bed of Fennel, Dill & Parsley with Salsa Verde
Sesame & Miso Salmon with Baked Radishes & Rocket
Crab Linguini with Chilli, Lime & Green Onion

Sweet Endings - Desserts

No wedding is complete without dessert and it’s becoming ever more popular for weddings to not offer cake as the only dessert option.

Whilst a beautiful multi-tiered cake is a stunning centrepiece for any wedding reception, it doesn’t accompany a 3-course sit-down meal the best.

Our Traditional Wedding Breakfast offers an our take on a number of classics that will leave your guests with one more reason to remember how great your wedding was! Dark Chocolate Marquise with Strawberries, Passion Fruit & Lemon, Passion Fruit & Mango Cheesecake with Chocolate Sorbet, Green Basil Mousse with Palm Sugar Pineapple, Coconut Bon Bon & Yogurt Sorbet and Elderflower Sponge with Pomegranate, Raspberry & Rose, have proven to be extremely popular over our 2022 weddings
